• These illustrations are design nods to '80s punk DIY zine aesthetics, and an homage to NOMAG, an LA-based indie publication with a punk ethos that centered around local art and politics. We included references to the weight of empathy and love, and our on-and-off mascot, the hyena - an underdog and scavenger who is smart, tactical, bone crushing, and always laughing. "First strike, last laugh."
